Health Check-ups and Blood Group Testing

The Saptagiri Foundation Vijayapura, in association with the District Social Welfare Department Vijayapura, successfully organized a comprehensive health and welfare program for 1000 students residing in No-01 Post-Matric Vocational Boys Hostel, No-02, and No-03 hostels in Vijayapura city.

ID Card Distribution: Personalized ID cards were distributed to the students, showcasing the foundation’s attention to organization and student welfare. Leadership and Execution: The entire program, from planning to execution, was effectively managed by Saptagiri Foundation, reflecting their dedication to community service.

Belgaum Division Level Training Camp

Under the joint auspices of Saptagiri Foundation, Vijayapura, and the District Health and Family Welfare Department, Vijayapura, we actively participated in the Belgaum Division Level Training Camp, focusing on various projects and awareness programs. This event served as a platform to enhance public awareness on key issues such as healthcare accessibility, sanitation, maternal and child health, nutrition, and preventive healthcare measures.

With the unwavering dedication of our art team, we secured first place, showcasing innovative and impactful presentations that resonated with the audience and the jury. Our team demonstrated a variety of creative approaches, including street plays, visual displays, interactive workshops, and digital storytelling, to effectively convey important messages.

The event was graced by senior officers from the IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) Department, who provided valuable insights into improving public engagement strategies. Renowned local artists, healthcare professionals, and community leaders also attended, enriching the event with their expertise and contributions.

Blood Camp

Saptagiri Foundation, Vijayapura Institution, Honorable Occasion of Secretary Mr. Mallikarjun Kalasareddy’s Birthday.

On the joyous occasion of the birthday of our respected Secretary, Mr. Mallikarjun Kalasareddy, the institution would like to reflect on its service during the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The disease, which created global turmoil, tested the resilience and unity of societies worldwide.

At Saptagiri Foundation, we took inspiration from the proverbial squirrel’s contribution in the Ramayana, symbolizing small yet meaningful efforts. Our team worked tirelessly to serve those affected by the pandemic, proving that even small acts of kindness could create a significant impact.

This event was not held for mere promotion, but as a testament to the unwavering spirit of service and compassion. Our main objective continues to be helping the suffering and uplifting as many lives as possible.

Health and Welness Centre

Under the joint auspices of Saptagiri Foundation Vijayapura and the District Health and Family Welfare Department, a three-day training program was organized for over 150 Asha workers from the Vijayapura district. The initiative aimed to enhance their skills and knowledge in delivering effective healthcare services at the grassroots level.

The training sessions focused on critical areas such as maternal and child health, nutrition, vaccination protocols, family planning, and communicable disease prevention. Special emphasis was laid on educating the workers about modern techniques for early disease detection and management, ensuring a healthier community.

Key speakers included healthcare professionals, public health experts, and representatives from Saptagiri Foundation, who provided valuable insights into improving healthcare delivery. Interactive workshops and hands-on training sessions ensured a practical understanding of the topics covered.

The program also highlighted the importance of digital tools in healthcare, equipping the Asha workers with the skills to use mobile applications and other technology for reporting and monitoring health data effectively.  At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn and grow. Certificates of completion were awarded to all attendees, symbolizing their dedication to bettering public health standards in the region.
